Conan Lycan Renamed Kato Sykes In WWE

Conan Lycan, an eight-year wrestling veteran, is signed to WWE's ID program and has received a new ring name. He will now compete as Kato Sykes. Sykes started his in-ring career in 2018. He has previously worked for promotions including GCW, ACTION Wrestling, AEW, TNA and Black Label Pro.

The wrestler has already appeared in two dark matches prior to NXT episodes airing live on The CW Network. He faced Marcus Mathers in one and Brooks Jensen in the other. Before adopting the name Kato Sykes under his WWE ID contract, he had been known as Mariano. Fightful Select first reported WWE's interest in him back in March 2026.
