Cody Rhodes Reveals Kevin Owens Set Up Tribute Camera For PAC

The wrestling community was stunned by the death of AEW performer Pac, whose real name was Benjamin Satterley, shortly after he competed for the AEW National Championship at All Out 2026.

In the period following his passing, numerous wrestlers who had shared rings with him in both AEW and WWE offered tributes and personal recollections.

WWE produced a YouTube video featuring several performers expressing their thoughts and emotions about Satterley.

Cody Rhodes, who had faced Satterley across multiple promotions, revealed during a WrestleTalk interview that Kevin Owens arranged a camera setup at a television taping so colleagues could record messages if they chose.

"He had a camera set up for all of us to go speak to, if we wanted to speak about Ben," Rhodes said.

Rhodes explained that he reflected deeply on their connection, noting they were not extremely close yet appeared together at significant career points including a SummerSlam match at Barclays Center and an "Arrow" crossover bout.

He recalled Satterley's presence during his own hiatus from WWE and as an original figure when AEW launched, while reviewing old text messages that highlighted their shared history such as working live events as Stardust versus Neville.

Rhodes observed that he had never encountered another wrestler who possessed such a complete understanding of his own identity, describing the quality as intimidating while he navigated his personal and character development.

He concluded that knowing Satterley and absorbing lessons from him had improved him as a person, wrestler, and storyteller.
