Cody Rhodes Previews Brutal Crown Jewel Clash
Cody Rhodes opened the Very Nice, Very Evil Halloween episode of SmackDown on October 30, 2026 at the Charleston Coliseum in Charleston, West Virginia. Rhodes previewed his Last Man Standing match against Randy Orton scheduled for November 7 at Crown Jewel in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
He apologized in advance to Orton’s five children and the fans for what he planned to do in the bout. Rhodes promised to deliver a receipt by punting off Orton’s head in response to what Orton did to him at WrestleMania 42.
He referenced a photo of his post-WrestleMania appearance and said he was ready to take Orton out again. Rhodes stated that Orton has punted the heads of dozens of wrestlers during his career, some of whom are now dead, and that all of them would be loaded in his boot when he permanently changes Orton’s complexion.
