Cody Rhodes Praises WWE's Top Pay Scale

“That next level pay is now comparable with sports.— Cody Rhodes
Cody Rhodes discussed WWE's improved pay structure in a recent interview. He referenced a quote from company President Nick Khan about varying levels of compensation for performers. Rhodes noted that the top tier of pay has now become comparable to contracts in major sports leagues.
Rhodes expressed pride in being a wrestler at a time when top earnings in the industry have reached new heights. He highlighted that wrestlers previously lacked the income levels seen in baseball and basketball despite their global recognition. The changes under modern TKO leadership and Nick Khan have elevated wrestler pay accordingly.
The money currently earned in professional wrestling is described as very good. WWE contracts now feature guaranteed amounts. Rhodes believes his late father Dusty Rhodes would have been shocked by the current level of payouts.
Since returning to WWE in 2022, Rhodes has reached the main event scene. He has won the Undisputed WWE Championship three times. He is currently involved in a feud with Randy Orton, a former mentor from the Legacy stable and a 14-time world champion.
