Channing Lorenzo Stretchered Out At NXT Live Event
The main event of an NXT live event on October 17 was halted after Channing Lorenzo suffered an injury during the match. Lorenzo hit his face on the post following an out-of-the-ring spot and landed hard on his back on the floor.
He was subsequently stretchered out of the arena in Sudbury. The injury occurred from a back body drop that took him to the floor.
Following the incident, Shawn Spears spoke to the crowd. He noted that unfortunate things can happen in the ring and that it is not easy when something serious occurs.
Spears emphasized that those in WWE are family and thanked the attendees for their support. Lorenzo is part of the BirthRight group that also includes Charlie Dempsey, Lexis King, Arianna Grace, and Uriah Connors.
