Chad Gable Remembers WWE Match Against Kurt Angle

“The cool thing I do remember about that is, in a very rare occurrence on a 'Monday Night Raw' live, we actually ended up getting more time than we were supposed to, in the moment. So we just got to wrestle. And to be able to just go in there and just be wrestling on the fly, winging it with Kurt Angle of all people, it's like 'This is happening?' And this is in Chicago, which is great, the crowd is always great. It was a great night man, except I got a speeding ticket on the way home.— Chad Gable
Chad Gable described his match against Kurt Angle as a dream come true. The bout took place in Chicago, near Gable's home state of Minnesota.
Gable and Angle received more time than originally planned during the live Monday Night Raw episode. This allowed them to wrestle on the fly and improvise in the ring.
The rarity of gaining extra time under the previous regime added to the special nature of the evening. The Chicago crowd contributed to the positive atmosphere.
Overall, Gable recalled the night as wonderful. The only drawback was receiving a speeding ticket on his drive home afterward.
