WWE
“Some places just don't know how to utilize talent to their maximum potential.— Bully Ray

Bully Ray discussed Royce Keys' recent success in WWE after spending six years with AEW. Keys debuted in WWE at the beginning of the year and has been placed in a major storyline leading the group 946 against The Bloodline.

On the Busted Open podcast, Bully Ray stated he was not surprised by how effectively Keys has been used in WWE. Ray criticized some promotions for failing to maximize the potential of their talent. He said, "I'm not nearly as shocked [as to how Keys has been used in WWE]."

Ray added, "Some places just don't know how to utilize talent to their maximum potential." According to Ray, the difference comes down to timing, which he described as a crucial element in professional wrestling. He noted, "A term that you hear over and over and over again in the world of professional sports entertainment — timing is everything."

Ray explained that timing was right for Royce Keys in his current situation. WWE has pushed several former AEW talents including Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, and Penta, with Keys positioned as a potential next star. Reports indicate that WWE views him as a potential future world champion.
