Bandido, Hangman & Brody King regain AEW Trios titles

Hangman Page, Bandido and Brody King won the AEW World Trios Championship by defeating Swerve Strickland and The New Level in a two-out-of-three-falls match at WrestleDream. The challengers secured the deciding fall when Bandido countered Strickland's Big Pressure into a victory roll at Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, Florida.

The bout served as a rematch from AEW All Out, where Strickland, Austin Creed and Kofi retained the titles after Strickland pinned Bandido. Early in the WrestleDream contest, the champions focused their attacks on Bandido, using double-team maneuvers that led to Kofi pinning him after a top-rope leg drop assisted by Creed to take the first fall.

Page and Strickland then renewed their personal rivalry by trading punches, with Page landing the Dead Eye. Creed and Kofi prevented the pin by pulling Strickland from the ring. The match later broke down into a six-man brawl, allowing the challengers to gain momentum.

Page connected with a Buckshot Lariat on Strickland, and King set up Creed for Bandido to deliver a monkey-flipped 450 splash for the pin that evened the falls at one apiece. In the decisive third fall, multiple dives occurred before the champions isolated Bandido and hit a double stomp onto Strickland's knees.

King answered with a dive onto all three opponents. Page and Bandido then combined for a Buckshot Lariat and German suplex on Creed, but Strickland broke up the pin with a Swerve Stomp. After further exchanges, Bandido hit a double fallaway slam on Creed and Kofi from the ropes.

Strickland escaped an attempted 21-Plex by landing on his feet and attempted Big Pressure, only for Bandido to counter into a victory roll for the winning pinfall. Following the match, Strickland initially refused to surrender the title belts before Creed and Kofi handed theirs over to Bandido and King.
