AEW WrestleDream card features eight-way title match

The AEW WrestleDream event will include an eight-man Clockwork Carnage match for the AEW World Championship. Will Ospreay, Samoa Joe, Mike Bailey, Adam Copeland, Konosuke Takeshita, Kazuchika Okada, Ricochet, and Darby Allin are set to compete under rules that begin with two wrestlers and add entrants at random every three minutes.

The match eliminates participants via pinfall or submission until all eight have entered. It then shifts to a 15-minute scoring period where each pinfall or submission counts as one fall, with the wrestler accumulating the most falls declared the winner.

In the AEW Tag Team Championship match, The Young Bucks will defend against Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Knight. Swerve Strickland, Kofi, and Austin Creed will face Hangman Page, Bandido, and Brody King in a best-of-three-falls contest for the AEW Trios Titles.

Jon Moxley is scheduled to defend the AEW Continental Championship against Mark Davis. Andrade El Idolo will put the AEW National Championship on the line against Tommaso Ciampa.

A four-way match for the TBS Championship will feature Persephone, Dani Luna, Hyan, and Queen Aminata. On the pre-show, The Motor City Machine Guns will meet FTR in the opening match of a best-of-five series.

Also on the pre-show, Megan Bayne and Lena Kross are set to face Julia Hart and Skye Blue. A scheduled women's tag team title match involving Jamie Hayter was removed from the card after she sustained an injury that is expected to sideline her for two more weeks.
