WWE Sets Christmas Week Raw and SmackDown Taping Plans

WWE has announced plans for its Christmas week programming. Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. will host a combined Raw and SmackDown event on Monday, December 21. Raw is expected to air live on Netflix that night while SmackDown will be taped for broadcast on Christmas night.

Christmas Day and New Year's Day both fall on Fridays this year. Tickets for the December 21 event go on sale this Friday, November 6. The advertising graphic features Seth Rollins, Oba Femi, Liv Morgan, Sol Ruca, Penta, and The Usos for the Raw side along with Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, Tiffany Stratton, Jade Cargill, Trick Williams, and Gunther for SmackDown.

The following week, WWE will hold another combined Raw and SmackDown event in Tampa, Florida on Monday, December 28. This show is expected to include the taping of the New Year's Day episode of SmackDown.

WWE will observe Christmas Day off before resuming with Holiday Tour house shows beginning December 26. The company has scheduled two house shows per day from December 26 through 30, excluding December 28.

One of the Holiday Tour events is the post-Christmas house show at Madison Square Garden. This is an annual tradition for WWE that did not take place in 2025 because the venue hosted a November episode of Raw instead.
