Uemura, Fujita, Hatazawa Pulled from NJPW Kobe Show

Yuya Uemura, Kosei Fujita and Yushin Hatazawa have been removed from the New Japan Pro-Wrestling Destruction in Kobe event scheduled for Sunday.

Uemura and Hatazawa were pulled due to illness while Fujita sustained an injury to his right knee. No additional details were provided regarding the severity of Fujita's injury or his expected recovery time.

The changes impact two matches on the card at Kobe World Memorial Hall. The six-man tag team match featuring Aaron Wolf, Taichi and Uemura against TMDK's Fujita, Ryohei Oiwa and Zack Sabre Jr. has been altered to a tag team contest.

Aaron Wolf and Taichi will now face Ryohei Oiwa and Zack Sabre Jr. The kickoff match pitting Hatazawa and Tatsuya Matsumoto against Masatora Yasuda and Taisei Nakahara has been canceled entirely.

Taichi had previously missed several dates on the Road to Destruction tour because of illness but is scheduled to compete on Sunday. The event is headlined by Yota Tsuji defending the IWGP Heavyweight Championship against Hirooki Goto.
