“He’s been incredible as a leader, and the things he’s said and done have been amazing.— Tony Khan
Tony Khan spoke about Jon Moxley during a media call ahead of AEW WrestleDream on October 17. Khan highlighted Moxley's importance to the company since its start in 2019. He expressed deep respect for Moxley and described him as a strong leader both inside and outside the ring.
Khan noted that Moxley has been especially valuable to the AEW locker room in recent weeks following tragedies. These events included the passings of Andy Williams, known as The Butcher, and PAC, whose real name is Benjamin Satterley.
Moxley performed at a tribute show for PAC in September. Khan shared that Moxley told him it felt good to go out and perform at the event.
Khan emphasized that Moxley's actions and words during this difficult period have been incredible. He pointed to Moxley's leadership as a key factor in supporting the company through challenges.
