TNA Partners With LaMelo Ball's LaFrance Brand
TNA Wrestling has formed a partnership with LaMelo Ball's lifestyle fashion brand LaFrance. The announcement was made by commentator Tom Hannifan during the Bound For Glory broadcast. LaFrance becomes the promotion's new official apparel partner.
As part of the deal, TNA referees will now wear LaFrance apparel in place of the standard black-and-white striped shirts. TNA stars and fans will also be able to purchase TNA-themed LaFrance clothing soon. Fans saw the new referee uniform at Bound For Glory, featuring a blue shirt with a white collar and both the TNA and LaFrance logos on the front.
LaMelo Ball was selected third overall in the 2020 NBA Draft. The point guard is known for his highlight passes, one-legged jumpers, and half-court three-pointers. Off the court, he has launched the LaFrance brand and maintains a notable car collection.
In addition to the TNA partnership, LaFrance is preparing to release a Stranger Things-themed collaboration with PUMA. The collection will include the Stranger Things x PUMA MB.06, LaFrancé, and LaFrance RNR models incorporating elements from the Netflix series.
At the same event, Leon Slater became the youngest World Champion in TNA history by winning the main event at Bound For Glory. The 22-year-old defeated Nic Nemeth to claim the title. He is the youngest wrestler to hold a world championship in TNA, WWE, or AEW.
