TNA Impact viewership fell by more than 10 percent for the episode that aired on October 1, 2026. The show averaged 182,000 viewers, dropping below the 200,000 mark for the first time in several weeks.

The previous week's episode had drawn 207,000 viewers. The three episodes before that had all exceeded 200,000 viewers, including one that reached 232,000 on September 10.

The key demographic rating declined to 0.02 from 0.03 the prior week. This marked the second time in two months that Impact registered a 0.02 rating, with the other occurrence on August 20.

The October 1 episode was taped at the Boeing Center at Tech Port in San Antonio, Texas. It served as the final Impact before the Bound For Glory pay-per-view.

The broadcast opened with a TNA X-Division Championship qualifying match where BDE defeated Mr. Elegance to advance to a six-way title match at Bound For Glory.

The show concluded with the tag team Syx, consisting of Samuel Shaw and Joseph Sawyer, explaining their recent backstage attacks and promising to defeat The Hardys at the upcoming pay-per-view.
