Shakur Stevenson Released From ZUFFA Boxing

Shakur Stevenson has been released from ZUFFA Boxing without making any appearances for the promotion.
Stevenson announced on his YouTube channel that his request for release was granted over the weekend.
He had been training in camp for eight weeks in preparation for fights that were promised but never materialized.
Stevenson stated that he is taking control of his career by starting his own promotional company.
He expressed willingness to collaborate with other promoters who share his level of seriousness about his future.
Talks for a potential bout against WBO welterweight champion Devin Haney had stalled, contributing to his decision to exit the contract with the Saudi Arabian-backed promotion headed by TKO Group.
