Seth Rollins wants to play Solid Snake
“I would love to play Solid Snake, Metal Gear Solid. I loved Metal Gear Solid growing up, all the iterations of it. I even just went back and played Snake Eater recently. So, I think I would make a good Snake.— Seth Rollins
Seth Rollins expressed interest in portraying Solid Snake in a potential Metal Gear Solid film adaptation. He cited his longtime fandom of the series, including recent playthroughs of Snake Eater.
The topic arose following positive attention given to Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns for their roles in the Street Fighter movie. Rollins indicated he believes he would be a strong fit for the character based on his appreciation for the games.
A Metal Gear Solid movie has been in development for years. Filmmaking duo Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stein are currently attached to the project.
Oscar Isaac was previously cast as Solid Snake but is no longer involved. The role remains uncast at this time.
