Sami Zayn Unsure About Retirement and Life After Wrestling

“Not only do I not know the answer to that. The other thing that I think about a lot is I don’t really know what I want to do when I’m done, because there are times I’m like, you know what sounds so nice?— Sami Zayn
Sami Zayn has no set retirement age planned. He remains unsure about his plans once his wrestling career concludes.
Zayn discussed his future during an appearance on Chris Van Vliet’s Insight podcast. He noted that wrestling has formed a major part of his life, making the idea of stepping away challenging.
He explained that he has not determined when he might retire or what he would pursue afterward. Part of him desires a slower pace of life that includes spending time outdoors and tending to a garden while reducing phone use.
At the same time, Zayn acknowledged that wrestling is deeply ingrained in him. He suggested that after a short period away he might feel restless and want to return to traveling, driving, and performing.
Zayn is currently in his second reign as Undisputed WWE Champion. He is set to defend the title against Trick Williams on the October 30 episode of SmackDown.
The winner of that match is scheduled to face World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel on November 7 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to determine the Men’s Crown Jewel Championship.
