Rocky Romero Balances Coordinating Roles for AEW, NJPW and CMLL
“I wear a lot of hats. It's a very demanding job on many ends, you know, not only for AEW but New Japan and CMLL as well.— Rocky Romero
Rocky Romero coordinates roles for AEW, NJPW, and CMLL. He described the position as demanding because each promotion maintains a full-time schedule.
The coordination work occurs largely online. Romero also travels in person to fulfill his responsibilities across the three companies.
His trips to Japan now take place every quarter. This schedule is less intense than his previous full-time touring, which involved at least twelve trips per year lasting from a few days to a month.
Romero no longer misses full-time touring as much while getting older and busier. He visits CMLL about once a month to make appearances and coordinate with staff.
He attends almost every AEW show unless he has prior commitments with CMLL or New Japan.
