Rhea Ripley Mocks Funeral for 30th Birthday

Rhea Ripley is currently sidelined from WWE television while recovering from right knee surgery. She had a procedure in early August to repair a torn meniscus after suffering the injury during a match against Jade Cargill at Clash in Italy. Ripley initially attempted rehabilitation before deciding on surgery.

The injury resulted in WWE stripping Ripley of the WWE Women's Championship. Chelsea Green was then promoted from interim champion to the reigning titleholder.

Ripley marked her 30th birthday by hosting a mock funeral celebration to say goodbye to her 20s. The event included a casket and cake along with her husband and close friends. She shared photos from the gathering on Instagram and wrote that her 20s are now at rest.

The birthday party featured her husband, who is an AEW star, and their dogs named Luna, Barry, Bella and Choppa. Several WWE stars attended the celebration including IYO SKY and Natalya.

It has been two months since Ripley's surgery. She has been sharing updates on her recovery and rehabilitation through social media. She has recently begun walking again while also lifting weights and maintaining a strong physical appearance.
