Paul Walter Hauser Reveals High-Level Star Criticized Him

Paul Walter Hauser told Metro that when he began wrestling for promotions including ROH, MLW, PROGRESS and independents, many were simply waiting to see if he would get hurt. He learned a high-level wrestling star he admires had been talking behind his back and suggesting he did not belong in the business. Hauser said the experience gave him motivation and clarity on who to assist in the future; he recently dropped the PROGRESS Proteus Championship to Donovan Dijak at PROGRESS 199.
