On the Record: WWE's Charlotte Flair Opens Up On Advice That's Helped Her Accept Her Dad's Social Media

“There's no one more proud. Like, he is my guy!— Charlotte Flair
WWE superstar Charlotte Flair discussed how she has come to terms with her father Ric Flair's outspoken social media activity during an appearance on HeymanHustleTV's "The Roundtable." The WWE Hall of Famer, aged 77, frequently posts criticisms of WWE storytelling that he believes does not properly elevate his daughter, and has a history of controversial tirades online.
Charlotte admitted she had previously felt embarrassed by some of her father's posts. She recalled a recent conversation with Natalya in which she expressed frustration about Ric potentially posting on Twitter again. Natalya responded by asking Charlotte if she thought her dad had earned the right to speak his mind. This exchange shifted Charlotte's perspective on the matter.
"There's no one more proud. Like, he is my guy!" Charlotte stated about her father. She added that Ric Flair is her biggest supporter and his online activity stems from wanting the best for her because he recognizes her talent.
She emphasized that she has always known his intentions are positive and is now even more conscious of that fact. This past weekend Ric Flair was rushed to the hospital after suffering a fall. He has since been released and provided a health update, while clarifying that posts on his Facebook account are not made by him after he lost control of the account to a digital talent agency.
