Omega, Moxley Matches Set For NJPW Power Struggle
Following the NJPW King of Pro Wrestling event on October 12, the first matches for the November 3 Power Struggle show have been announced. Kenny Omega and Jon Moxley will both appear in action at the Hiroshima event.
Omega attacked IWGP Heavyweight Champion Yota Tsuji after the main event and also targeted Boltin Oleg. This has resulted in a three-way match between Omega, Tsuji and Oleg, with the winner of the fall earning a title shot at Wrestle Kingdom 21 on January 4.
Moxley responded to an open challenge from Shingo Takagi at the start of the King of Pro Wrestling show. He will team with Wheeler Yuta to face Takagi and Jeff Cobb in a tag team match.
Gabe Kidd will defend the IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship against Taichi on the card. Taichi has stated that a victory for him would ban Kidd from NJPW going forward.
The IWGP Tag Team Championship will also be on the line as champions The Knockout Brothers face Callum Newman and Will Ospreay.
