NXT House Show Main Event Halted By Injury

An injury brought an early end to the main event at an NXT house show on Friday in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada.

The eight-man tag team match pitted members of Birthright against Tony D’Angelo, Tavion Heights, Shiloh Hill, and Shawn Spears.

During the bout Channing Lorenzo suffered an injury after taking a back body drop to the floor.

Medical personnel attended to him, placed him in a neck brace, and removed him from the arena on a stretcher.

A separate match on the same night during SmackDown also stopped prematurely due to an in-ring injury.

R-Truth was unable to continue after executing a missile dropkick against Damian Priest.
