MJF Calls Out Ryohei Oiwa For Future Match

MJF called out Ryohei Oiwa for a future match. The former AEW World Champion delivered the message through a video package that aired during the NJPW Road to King of Pro Wrestling event at Korakuen Hall.

The video played while Oiwa was at ringside supporting his TMDK teammate Zack Sabre Jr. In it, MJF stated he would put his Triple B title on the line in the proposed bout.

MJF described Oiwa as the best New Japan has to offer. He claimed that defeating Oiwa would bring him closer to shutting down New Japan Pro Wrestling and its fanbase.

The promo featured MJF discussing a headlock takeover to determine the real king of the headlock. It marked a rare appearance for MJF, who has been absent from AEW programming for weeks.

MJF's most recent match occurred in the Casino Gauntlet at All In: London over a month ago. No specific date was given for the match against Oiwa.

The bout will not take place at the King of Pro Wrestling event. Oiwa is scheduled to challenge IWGP Heavyweight Champion Yota Tsuji in the main event of that show.
