MCMG Challenges FTR To Best Of Five Series

The Motor City Machine Guns issued a challenge to FTR for a best of five series on AEW Dynamite. During an interview segment with Tony Schiavone, FTR appeared on the entrance ramp and called out the World Tag Team Champions the Young Bucks.

Instead of the Young Bucks, the Motor City Machine Guns came out. Chris Sabin expressed respect for FTR and stated that AEW has the greatest tag team division in wrestling.

Sabin added that the Motor City Machine Guns aimed to prove they were the best by defeating FTR. Referencing FTR's record against the Young Bucks, the Motor City Machine Guns proposed beating FTR three times out of five in a series.

Alex Shelley suggested starting the series immediately on the show. Stokely Hathaway interrupted and recommended beginning the series at WrestleDream instead.

The two teams shook hands to confirm the series would start at WrestleDream. This upcoming best of five will mark the first traditional two on two match between the Motor City Machine Guns and FTR.
