“That means a lot honestly because I’ve been in this company what, a little over a year at this point, and I was on the dual contract.— Kevin Knight
Kevin Knight expressed gratitude after Tony Khan identified him as one of the future pillars of AEW.
Knight noted that his wrestling career has advanced significantly since he joined the promotion over a year ago on a dual contract.
He was particularly struck by being grouped with Mercedes Mone, Thekla, and Kyle Fletcher, all of whom entered AEW with substantial prior experience.
Knight highlighted that he arrived primarily from New Japan and was not among the promotion's initial high-profile signings.
He plans to continue performing to the best of his abilities after recognizing that his approach has gained Khan's attention.
Knight and Kyle Fletcher are scheduled to challenge The Young Bucks for the AEW Tag Team Titles at WrestleDream on October 17.
