Kelani Jordan Calls Raw Debut An Awesome Experience
“It was just an awesome experience to be able to be on a big stage, something that you worked for your whole career so being on Raw and being on Netflix, it was a super big turning point in— Kelani Jordan
Kelani Jordan discussed her Monday Night Raw in-ring debut during an interview with Justin Dhillon of The Wrestling Classic. She faced Raquel Rodriguez and Lola Vice in a Money in the Bank qualifier match in September. Jordan described the experience as cool because of the large crowd size, which she compared to a previous Stand & Deliver event.
She noted it was her first time working with Raquel Rodriguez in a singles or multi-person match. Jordan also highlighted being present for Lola Vice's debut given their shared history and story together. She called the appearance an awesome experience and a super big turning point in her career since it was on Raw and on Netflix.
Jordan said she gave the audience just enough of her performance to make them want to see more. Several days after the debut, Fightful Select reported that Jordan is planned for a main roster run once she finishes her time as NXT Women’s Champion.
She expressed that when the time is right she would love to show what she can do regularly on Raw or SmackDown. Jordan added that her current focus is having an iconic NXT Women’s Championship reign and building a legacy in NXT.
She is scheduled to defend the NXT Women’s Championship against Wren Sinclair at the Halloween Havoc Premium Live Event on October 31st.
