Kaitlyn Rules Out In-Ring Return

Kaitlyn Rules Out In-Ring Return
“I don't really want to get back in the ring.— Kaitlyn

Former WWE Divas Champion Kaitlyn has stated that she has no plans to return to in-ring competition. The wrestler, whose real name is Celeste Bonin, competed in WWE from 2010 to 2014. She was recognized for her strength-based moves and physical presence during that time.

After leaving WWE in 2014, Kaitlyn participated in independent circuit events for several years. She made a short comeback in 2018 but was eliminated in the second round of the Mae Young Classic by Michin. Her most recent match took place in 2019 at the GWA 3rd Annual Toy Drive.

In a conversation with Chris Van Vliet, Kaitlyn explained her decision by expressing deep respect for professional wrestling as an art form. She highlighted elements such as match psychology, audience connection, storytelling through facial expressions and body language, and protecting both herself and her opponent.

Kaitlyn noted the complexity of the performance, including awareness of camera positions, time management, and adapting to crowd reactions. She indicated that her current appreciation for wrestling stems from her own experiences in the ring.

Now 40 years old, Kaitlyn works as a model and says she lacks any strong motivation to resume wrestling. While she occasionally watches matches involving friends, she has no intention of stepping back into the ring.
