Joseph Sawyer Injured During GCW Title Match

Joseph Sawyer suffered an injury during a GCW title match. He rolled out of the ring and began limping as he walked around the ringside area.
The referee checked on Sawyer while his opponent Jeffrey walked past him. Sawyer then took a microphone and stated that he might be done for months before confronting a fan and leaving the venue.
The injury occurred in Sawyer's second match of the night after he had defended the title against Jazzy Yang earlier in the evening. He ultimately left the GCW Championship behind as he departed.
Sawyer later shared an update indicating that his knee appeared to be okay for the time being. He confirmed that he was hurt and unable to finish the match after losing feeling in his knee.
Despite the setback, Sawyer noted that the injury did not seem likely to sideline him for an extended period. He had made his TNA Wrestling debut earlier in the week alongside Samuel Shaw after the pair signed with the promotion.
