Gage Goldberg Eyes Pro Wrestling Career After Football

Gage Goldberg, son of WWE legend Bill Goldberg, is a member of Deion Sanders' Colorado football program. The 20-year-old middle linebacker from Boerne Champion High School in Boerne, Texas, is part of the Class of 2024.

Gage recently appeared on the Colorado Football Coaches Show where he discussed his interest in a professional wrestling career. He confirmed that pursuing wrestling is definitely an option for him after his football career.

Gage revealed that his father was initially against him entering wrestling when he was younger. Bill Goldberg's stance changed once Gage began getting involved in the sport.

Gage stated that the decision to pursue wrestling is ultimately up to him. He expressed that he would love the opportunity and believes it would be a great path to take following his time in football.

In a 2024 interview, Gage disclosed that Triple H had spoken with him about a potential WWE career. He was offered a WWE NIL deal, which his father turned down due to the low financial terms.

Gage is currently a walk-on linebacker at the University of Colorado, focusing on his college football career while remaining open to professional wrestling in the future. His father Bill Goldberg wrestled his last match against Gunther in 2025.
