Drew McIntyre Ranks His HIAC With CM Punk Among WWE's Best
“From a story perspective, from a match perspective, I'll argue all day: it's one and two between us and 'Taker and Shawn, the first ever Hell in a Cell.— Drew McIntyre
Drew McIntyre stated that from a story and match standpoint his 2024 Hell in a Cell bout against CM Punk at Bad Blood ranks as one or two alongside the inaugural 1997 Hell in a Cell between The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels. McIntyre emphasized the personal hatred between himself and Punk that elevated the contest and claimed he ultimately lost due to blood loss rather than being beaten by Punk. He noted receiving 17 staples in his head following the match.
