Deonna Purrazzo Credits TNA Run For Building Her Confidence

Deonna Purrazzo states that her time in TNA Wrestling shaped her the most as a performer. She is currently signed to AEW and ROH after working for several promotions including WWE and Lucha Libre AAA.

During an interview, Purrazzo was asked which period of her career shaped the performer fans see today. She identified her TNA run as the key period that built her confidence.

Purrazzo explained that in April and May of 2020 she was unsure if she wanted to continue wrestling. When TNA reached out, she felt hesitant but upon arriving felt immediately at home.

She noted that beyond winning five world championships and main eventing numerous pay-per-views and television shows, she had a supportive team that wanted to see her succeed and worked with her to achieve that goal.

Purrazzo worked for TNA from 2014 to 2017 and again from 2020 to 2023. During that time she captured the Knockouts World Title on three occasions and held the Knockouts World Tag Team Title with Chelsea Green.
