Contract News: Inside Word On Max Caster's TNA Deal & Circumstances Surrounding His Departure

TNA President Carlos Silva decided to release Max Caster following recent attacks in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Caster issued an online video apology for his actions and acknowledged that Silva had remained generous and professional despite the situation. He stated that he understood the decision to terminate his deal with the company.

Caster had signed a pay-per-appearance contract with TNA. This arrangement reflects the company's current approach to talent agreements. TNA granted Caster creative freedom for his entrance, but the promotion was unaware of the specific content he planned for his promo.

Some individuals within AEW suggested that TNA should have anticipated issues with Caster's promo. They pointed to his history of pushing boundaries in past promos while serving as a former World Tag Team and Trios Champion.

Following the events, TNA removed all mentions and replays of the match between Moose and Caster from Bound for Glory. The content was taken down from TNA+, the company's official social media platforms, and its YouTube channel.
