Cody Rhodes Punts Baron Corbin On SmackDown
On this week's WWE SmackDown, Baron Corbin interrupted Cody Rhodes during a promo near the end of the broadcast. An impromptu match between the two soon followed.
Randy Orton interfered in the matchup, leading to a non-finish. The three men brawled both outside and inside the ring.
Orton attempted a Punt Kick on Rhodes, but Rhodes avoided it and hit a Cody Cutter instead. Rhodes then prepared to deliver a Punt Kick to Orton.
Corbin attacked Rhodes before the kick could connect. Rhodes responded with a Super Cutter on Corbin.
Rhodes followed up by landing a Punt Kick on Corbin to end the show. This occurred directly in front of Orton.
Rhodes had hesitated to use the Punt Kick in a prior loss to Orton at Saturday Night's Main Event. Orton had used the move without hesitation in their WrestleMania 42 match.
