Bully Ray Defends LA Knight's Announce Table Spot
“Nothing went wrong with the announce table spot. Not everything is supposed to be perfect.— Bully Ray

Bully Ray defended LA Knight following criticism from fans over a spot during his match against Roman Reigns at WWE Money in the Bank. Knight attempted a powerbomb to send Reigns through the announce table but needed two tries to complete the move successfully.

According to Ray, the spot unfolded exactly as it should have. He explained that not every action in a match needs to appear perfect or smooth and that the struggle made the sequence look like an authentic fight.

Ray pointed out that the crowd reacted strongly once Knight executed the powerbomb through the table. The subsequent elbow drop and false finish drew an even bigger response from the audience than other near falls in the bout.

He argued that the initial failure added realism to the action. Ray emphasized that Reigns is heavy and it would not be believable for Knight to lift and maneuver him without visible effort.

Ray dismissed those labeling the moment a botch. He stated that the struggle enhanced the match and made the eventual success more impactful.

The Hall of Famer expressed strong approval of Knight's overall performance. He indicated a desire to see Knight face Reigns again.
