AEW Announces WrestleDream For October 17 2026
AEW announced several matches for the upcoming episode of Dynamite following WrestleDream. The card will feature a tag team match involving Will Ospreay and Adam Copeland if the latter is medically cleared. Ilja Dragunov is also scheduled to make his debut on the show.
Discussions after the WrestleDream event covered various topics including the fallout from the pay-per-view. Additional subjects included upcoming shows by Pac, WWE, and UFC in the Middle East.
Kairi is expected to join AEW once her visa is approved. She will be able to participate in the Jericho Cruise event since it takes place in international waters.
An all-women's pro wrestling event at Arena Mexico drew at least 10,000 fans. This marked the largest attendance for such a show anywhere in the world since 2018. The main matches saw Olympia defeat Skadi to win a Universal Championship tournament and Britt Baker team with Persephone to defeat Thunder Rosa and Tessa Blanchard.
