Shotzi Blackheart's MLW Contract Expires

Shotzi Blackheart's recent appearance in TNA raised questions about her standing with MLW. Her latest contract with the promotion lasted six months and ended on October 5.
Blackheart remains on good terms with MLW. She had committed to working dates for the company in 2027, but her new TNA contract appears to prevent those appearances.
MLW officials were aware of the possibility that Blackheart might move on. The promotion has contingencies prepared in the event of her departure.
Blackheart lost the MLW Featherweight Championship to Masha Slamovich last month. The title change has not yet aired on television, indicating she is still scheduled for upcoming episodes of MLW Fusion.
She will continue to fulfill some non-TNA dates. Blackheart is booked for Chris Jericho's Rock N' Wrestling Rager at Sea cruise next month.
This marks Blackheart's first contracted run with TNA. She previously wrestled two matches on Impact in 2018 and appeared at two TNA spot shows in 2019.
