MLW Secures TV Streaming Deal With Tubi

MLW has reached a television streaming agreement with Tubi. The partnership includes a rights fee along with a revenue share tied to library content integration. The deal was finalized in August.

The agreement arrives nearly five years after MLW filed an antitrust lawsuit against WWE. The suit claimed WWE influenced Tubi to drop existing and potential deals with MLW. Tubi was owned by Fox, which broadcast WWE SmackDown during that period.

The lawsuit named Stephanie McMahon as the WWE executive who applied pressure on Tubi regarding MLW. A settlement between the parties was reached in December 2023.

MLW brought back its program Fusion in May following a three-year break. The show has been available at no cost on YouTube.

MLW owner Court Bauer stated that the promotion was built on a model with no paywalls or subscription barriers between fans and the content. He noted that Tubi follows a similar fan-first approach on a larger scale.
