Former ROH Wrestler Cauliflower Chase Brown Passes Away

Independent wrestler Cauliflower Chase Brown has died at the age of 41. Brown passed away on October 13.

He started his wrestling career in 2012 and appeared in Ring of Honor several times from 2015 through 2017. In addition to wrestling, he was a musician.

Cheeseburger paid tribute on social media, recalling how Brown first connected with many in the mid-2010s through ROH tryouts and ring crew. He described Brown as a hard worker who reinvented himself by performing music with his guitar and carrying a giant cauliflower that he would bite into during appearances.

Cheeseburger noted that Brown earned the Cauliflower nickname from Terry Funk because of his ear, adding that Brown was a legitimate shooter and tough competitor. He remembered Brown entertaining the ring crew with his charm, humor, and guitar songs during long production days, and how the crew celebrated when Brown earned his first ROH match.

WWE's Saquon Shugars also shared a tribute, reflecting on how Brown allowed him to help set up ROH shows when he was 13 years old. JCW's Caleb Konley posted about Brown as well, describing him as unapologetically himself, uniquely driven, and fully committed to wrestling, music, and family.
